That's a pretty good looking gun, and what are your long darts made of?

where did you get that 6mm PVC? i want some...... are you SURE that that is 6mm PVC? it could be .25 inch PEX tubing. your barrel looks aluminum. i did find that PEX tubing, when sheathed with aluminum tubing to make it go straight, made an excellent 6mm barrel.........

.177 in * 25.4 mm/in = 4.5mm, so not a good fit.
You probably want .22 pellets, at 5.6mm each.
However, I'm not sure that any air rifle pellet would make a good spudgun round.

Personally I find 0.22 pellets make excellent ammunition for my 6mm minis (slightly flared out though to fit the barrel snugly), nice and heavy and they fly straight thanks to the "diablo" shape that keeps them stable in the manner of a shuttlecock.

That looks like a wicked gun for a first pneumatic. How well does it perform?

meh....... It destroys a can easy shreds cardboard but unfortunately i have not found a way to shoot through ply yet or what size i should shoot at. This is because of the low performance of airsoft BB's and they are not structured to shoot through wood. Well i think.

Through a can? wow I'm surprised, good work, is that with a dart or bb? And do you reckon you could show better picture of the valve/trigger end? Although it is a simple design, I really like it.
Oh and is that a cat I see with in the picture with its bright green eyes?

It's a dog. And there's someone asleep on the couch lol.
airsoft BBs can go through 1/4" ply easily if you shoot them fast enough, what pressures have you tried so far? I suggest you use bottle made for carbonated drinks instead of a water bottle (something like coke, sprite etc.) as they are made to withstand more pressure, you can safely take them to at least 125 psi.
A small footnote, why the Maltese cross?
