I made the PPK (Put-Put Kannon) right after I made the Punisher, thus they share very similar designs. PPK was basically an experiment on how small I could make a cannon with the parts I had laying around, it's actually pretty Frankenstein if you take a closer look at it.

Never got around to really test firing it, it'll blast a AA battery pretty fast though, that's all I've done with it. Damn I hate living in an apartment.

Here's a side view, I used a cheap Wal Mart ball pump hose clamped to the side. The gun is 1.5" PVC pipe with a .5" coaxial barrel.

A closer look at the handle reveals the PPKs trigger set up. I cut a slot in the 1.5" pipe and stuck a butchered blowgun in it. Of course I had to seal the bottom leg of the Wye with a PVC disk. Unfortunately the trigger setup is pretty awkward, as you can see, it's up side down and a little low on the handle.

Also a good picture to see the inlet hose splice and typical lever style Schrader connector. Yeah, pretty ghetto but like I said, I was recycling parts!

Just a shot of the end cap I drilled a hole in for the pneumatic line. The hose leads to the nipple on the plug. If you haven't guessed PPK is a simple diaphragm gun.

This is the back of the gun with the plug removed. Like I said, simple! Looks like the barrel was glued a little crooked, oops!

Lastly is a picture of the "heart" of PPK, the cap was kind of difficult to make. The 1/4" nipple was in the way of the 1/8" Schrader so I had to cut a notch out of the nipple threads. It went together good though with a little JB Weld!

The black disk is just 3/16" neoprene.

yea, i love the way it looks also, but how come the air in the chamber does not come out the angled grip? it looks as if you have butchered it...

would a piece of pvc be enough to make it air tight, and if it could, how?

Umm yeah, it's called gluing and priming it to permanantly seat it in there. I don't think that he used PVC pipe. You need something solid like a PVC rod or disk to make it airtight.

Second what this guy says.^
That is considered to be one of the "simpler" cannons on the forum. If you can't understand how it works, don't build itl.

If I'm not mistaken he sleeved a PVC pipe into the wye, isolating the lower leg of the connector.
