pressure gauge

Ok this is my second post and i need help installing a psi gauge on my cannon. The problem is that i have already glued everything and need ideas on how to put a gauge on it without it leaking thanks for all the (future) help ideas would be GREATLY appreciated

drill a hole and screw it in, but try to get as much of the bits of plastic out of the chamber first. also use teflon tape on the threads. and many people say you should only drill through 2 layers of pipe, like where a coupling overlaps the pipe.

Hi,
Does the gauge have a so called 1/8 inch tapered (conical) male thread?
("so called", because what is called 1/8 inch is really bigger .. about 9 mm).
I'd say, get another 1/8 inch male coupling (the cheapest whatever one). Use a file to make it into a makeshift tap (taper it even more, and file some grooves down the sides .. just like a regular tap). Then, drill a hole of the right size on the cannon (google for the size).
Stick a screwdriver of the right size into the tap, and, turning it with a wrench, cut a thread in the cannon.
You MAY be able to screw the gauge in directly if the gun is thin material, but then at least use a wrench to turn the square part of its fitting on the back of it.
Put loctite or epoxy on the gauge thread..

so what your saying is, drill a hole tap it and screw in the gauge

THAT IS TOTALLY UNESSASARY.
All you need to do is drill a hole slightly smaller than the threads on the gauge and screw it in with some teflon tape. Just like homedepotpro said.
also make sure that it is in an overlapping area like he said aswell.
I also like to grind the location for my hole flat, not too much mind you. However this is purly user preference.
