Hello, Im pretty much a newbie here and I need a lil experienced help! Im sick of the D#@% bbq ignitor  and I need something better! I am considering a stun gun and I can get this one cheap on Ebay, http://www.actionstunguns.com/streetwise200kstungun.htm
Has anyone ever used one? Or is there an alternative one someone would reccommend that is? I see there are probes out the front and the two in the middle. I assume I would have to take off the cone shaped prongs on the inside to mount wires to am I correct? What about studs on front are they live too? Any help/advise/pics would be great!!!! I have spend hrs searching for help and now I am writing for it! Thanks!

It would work perfectly, and both prods are live.

That stungun will work fine.

Two things though; the one in the link is $23 +$8 = $31 which is at least $10 more than it should be.

It would be best to get a stun gun with a case with screws. Stun guns crap out about as easily as do piezo BBQ sparkers. So it is nice to be able to get the case open to repair it. (Anyone have a link to a stun gun with a scewed closed case?)

You should defiantly read the SpudWiki on stun guns that benstern linked to.

Easiest way to wire it is to just connect jumper wires, with alligator clips on each end, to the probes on the front of the stun gun.

All the stun guns I've ever used were glued shut. I just gut mine and stick it in a waterproof box. It's better looking and allows you to access everything better.
I solder my wires to the wires going to the probes. Then I mount the probes at the same distance so they can still arc if my electrodes in my cannon get f'ed up. It's a safety precaution to protect the stun gun. Don't remove them.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

You can get one from BCARMS... At least you know that one would work.
