It says its 'no longer available'. The video, I mean.

EDIT: Whoops, its back now.

I like it, the only problem I foresee are that people inept enough to need a tutorial probably won't solvent-weld it unless thats shoved in their faces.

How the hell do you spend $1200 on a hybrid? I can see spending $30 on a cheap combustion, but that is a lot of money on a hybrid. Did you build the thing out of platinum laced with diamonds or something?

That 4" pipe looks pressure rated, I guarantee it wont explode unless it's been damaged in some way. Those couplers cost about $8 each don't they?

Cool tutorial.

I always have a bit of a problem with mounting the piezo sparker in the back like that, especially if you're going out of your way to reinforce the chamber with couplers. The reasoning for this is that threaded cleanout adapaters are generally weak, and drilling a large hole through them doesn't do much to help. Also, if you set the gun down on it's back...watch out

And I agree with Crowley, pressure rated pipe negates almost all safety concerns in this case. I can't tell if it really was PW since the pressure rated stuff is gray here.

I agree 100%...but wouldn't you rather have that extra safety, AND not have to worry about losing a hand/eye by repositioning the igniter?

Was the pipe pressure-rated? If so it wouldn't expolde anyways unless you loaded it with guncotton or some such....

I've had two explosions right next to me at 110 PSI, one was next to my head, the other my crotch, pelvic area.

With only boardshorts (very thin) on, the PVC didn't do anything.
And the one against my head was lightly scratched by a piece of PVC.
Mind you that could take out an eye.

Sure the chamber wasn't right up against me, but it would never blow of your hand. At most you could have your finger half taken off, or a artery cut open.

IMO, even if that pipe isn't rated, at 30-45PSI (hairspray) it wont blow up.

I'm just trying to say that the couplers weren't necessary for someone who may build the same cannon from your video, $30 on a basic combustion is quite a bit in America.

Wow they're pretty cheap.

How come it cost $30 then?

Edit: I'm sure I told you about the posting rules and double posting?
Anyway you may want to read This to learn all the posting rules. We don't allow double posting, even if it is a seperate response, it clutters the forum too much. Just edit your posts instead.

Thanks. :)
