This gun has nothing to do with shooting frogs... It's my first combustion and I just made it a few weeks ago...

<img src="http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/9887/absfull5mx.jpg" alt="">

It's got 2 Feet of 4'' ABS for the Chamber with a HUB 4'' End Cap and a 4'' by 2'' street bushing with a coupling to go to a 2'' female

I drew out the 'blue-prints' on paint... Here's the concept link:
<img src="http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/5950 ... ept8al.png" alt="">

Here's a picture off the front of my chamber w\ the fresh 2'' Female

<img src="http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/3412/absfront6gk.jpg" alt="">

Here's the poor bottom of my Chamber... :( Hair spray....

<img src="http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/5568/absback5fl.jpg" alt="">

Good thing my neighbors a plumber... free pipe and fittings :D lol

I'm going to buy some Banjo's so it's easy on easy off... and I'm currently buying a 2.5'' Barrel from Spud Tech... Next a new chamber, Propane, and Stun gun ignition

I can shoot Golf balls good, and BIG potatoes... I just made that 1.5'' barrel and added my 2'' Female and 2'' Male about 3mins before the picture... The smell of glue smells horrible right now...

PS: why aren't the pics showing up? i'm doing

u r on your way frogy. just please use pressure rated pvc next time (although ABS is fine for a first gun). It always seems that people use non pressure rated pipes on their first guns.
I did :D
I had a pnuematic that i must have filled up to 110 psi over 100 times before i found out some of the fittings weren't pressure rated when i posted it on the forum.

and i didn't die. must have been luck

Damn whats up with your *ill* "safety" warnings? ABS is perfectly OK for a aerosel combustion, hell a propane combustion is able to hold it also.

Spudstuff obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, a little more research on his part would have shown that ABS is perfectly fine for a combustion.... Next time do some research before talking out of your ass.

Frogy-- It's a nice gun, good way to start off as a beginnner.... ABS, it's safe as long as you use it in a combustion and don't try anything wtih hydrogen or oxygen or oxideizers and such. It's simple, and a good design for starts.

I know what I'm doing fine with a potato gun.... It's the first gun I've made... not the first I've had...

I don't mind people mildly "flaming" me, but I know the mods\senior members don't like it...

I have a leak around my lantern igniter which acts as a pop off valve :D just today I was shooting my 1.5'' barrel with a 2'' buffer and it didn't fit through the barrel so it went PSHHHH out of the hold in the lantern igniter...

The rag was all burnt on the bottom and it smoked a lot... It's quite a nice safety feature for being an accident :D and it doesn't leak when I really shoot....

Today I used a Toliet Paper Roll filled with 3 golf balls in my 2'' barrel and it fit's loose but it's very aerodynamic and shoot and hit exactly where I aimed... all 3 balls hit the middle off the tree and ripped off some bark... and it blew out the side of the paper towel roll

That's pretty sweet for a first cannon. I was just wondering if you knew the combustion chamber:Barrel ratio for the two barrels, and about how far can it shoot the various ammo?

I was pretty stupid when I made it, so it has a 2:1 with the 2'' Barrel and about a 2.3:1 with the 1.5" barrel...

I intentionally made the 1.5" barrel about 2:1 because I'm planning on shortening the chamber to 18" so their both 1.5:1

I like shooting golf balls out of the 2'', but it's too big for most potatoes...

range:

2":
Golf Balls -1000 ft+
Arrows -1500 ft+
Potato's -800 ft+ (I've gotten 800 without a good seal!)

1.5''
Golf ball cores -unmeasured, but very very far
Apple -not very far, seem to break in mid air
D cell -700 ft

None of these are really exaggerating at all either... The arrows in my 2'' probably even go 1/2 a mile... one one went 4/10 and stuck in an abandoned houses roof :oops:

For good Damage I like to get the mini-Axe cans after there all used and hacksaw the top off and fill them with concrete ... awsome ammo for 1.5"

For 2'' Ammo I had a good result getting a toilet paper roll and filling it with 3 golf balls and wrapping it in duct tape... it hits and rips out the side of the toilet paper roll, but still goes through 1/2" Plywood
