This is my first combustion cannon i made a few years back.

Specifications:
Barrel: 36in 2in diameter sch40
Chamber: 14in 3in diameter sch40
Ignition: Lantern Sparker
Fuel: Hairspray

It's great for a first time build! My first attempt was when I was about 14 years old and it was complete garbage.

You said it was a few years back? Have you been building since?

You find them in camping centers where you buy lanterns and camp stoves, tents, etc. Here in the States that's lots of places, Walmart, sporting goods shops, etc. Not sure how that would relate to Aussie land though.

Yeah i got the lantern sparker at Campmor don't no if they have those outside of NJ. Its not held together with duct tape i pvc cemented it, thought it might help keep the cannon airtight? I am hopefully going to building a advanced combustion if a few weeks.

haha mate you are wasting precious tape :lol:
if you cemented it properly then ther should be no leaks or gaps at all.
just make sure you put a good amount a glue on it.
and i rekon you should just use this one for your advanced gun. cos you have already started :wink:
just get a new cleanout cap. and you have the starts of something new.
