FYI in order to get the offset barrel inside the chamber, the front of the chamber is fitted with a piece of machined PVC rod. Granted, you could modify a fitting to do similar, it won't be offset.

I agree with most people who commented here but I also agree with chrissilvermancs that the gun could do without machined parts... well at least they don't have to be made from aluminium..
I wonder how much they increase the price?

The very style of your writing points towards me calling the big bullshitter button on you.chrissilvermancs wrote:its not that i dont have the experience (but thanks for assuming) i just never posted my cannons for over a few years after i build them i have a other account but i do not remember anything of it so i started over.
again i like jagerbonds cannon and i happen to have most of the parts to make a six inch version of it.with some modification
and if you are criticizing me on a few of my cannons it is because the two cannons i have posted were my first cannons that were slightly improved that i made like two years ago. and i know alot more not than when i started.
which is why im asking about the mapp gas because i did the math like a year ago and when i started i did know about map gass and i could not find the post that talked about it
the reason i posted was not to offend jagerbonds but was for any other ideas to improve it and help with the gas equation.
and also lets be realistic with out the custom parts with are nice but not necessary it can be under 200. and i do know why he sells them for 1k and yes the quality and reliability is great. other than the metal parts im hoping to match it and i have all summer to do it if that what it takes
but thanks for the help with the mapp gas but and im open for suggestions to the cannon before i start the build
Congratulations, this is a spudgun forum devoted towards advanced in said field. Not a spudgun fan-fiction forum where you can tell us fictional stories that you dream up to make yourself feel accomplished.
Enough with the bashing upon our new sponsor, his product is proven and to think of paying less for such a quality product is 6 different kinds of stupid.

I like that idea a lot with the cam lock breach cap. I know its tough to design a sweet breach loading system with a coaxal type setup, but the cam lock would make better for sure.

What was important in my post was the "now you ony have to impress us" and i should add "standards are high these days".
There are indeed many ways in wich the BL-520 could be improved, and 1000 dollars even for that quality is overpriced, to me at least. 1000 is the price of a macbook, it also is the price of 4 pocket bikes...I'm not gonna continue on this but, it is a lot.
The time and effort on this project are what costs that, but I think putting this at a thousand bucks isn't a good economical equation on the long term. I'd have sold them for 600 to start. still a good price.
