I'm considering ordering the electronic spark box/fan control from launchpotatoes.com and was wondering if there is any word on it.
Electronics is not my area of expertise and it sure seems like an elegant solution.

You can trust LP. He replied to my emails and seems quite professional. His Mauler valve is legendary, and i'm sure this will work well.

Looks like a nice part and decent price considering.
"batteries not included" I'd get rechargeables or try to find the equivelent output as 8aaa's in a smaller configuration.
BTW,

BTW,
Where is that guy with the sq*rrel problem? 8)...With the wireless circuit installed, there are tons of things you can do that you couldn't before. You can now stand back and watch the action from a whole new perspective. The range is incredible. It works from hundreds of feet away....

Question - The unit seemed OK but I wonder about the option for a "wireless" trigger. Wouldn't this be susceptible to untimely ignition through unintentional radio interference?

This depends on the "wireless" connection. Some are highly encoded to ignore anything except a perfect match key, such as car remotes and door openers and even cell phones. No match no operation. Cheap stuff does not have that protection. Find out what you are buying.aussieguy123123 wrote:Question - The unit seemed OK but I wonder about the option for a "wireless" trigger.
