I know it's in the middle east... but Israel is similar to western europe and the US as far as the standard of living is concerned... and this in turn means that teenagers spend a lot of time playing computer games, people have access to contraceptives, low birth rate, etc.

anyway.. have a look at the pic... the tank offers great protection but it also costs a lot... in countries such as Israel people respect their lives so they are willing to spend a lot of $ on stuff that saves them

so far it worked all right for them... but it wouldn't have if they hadn't been supsidised the US...

but as the Palestinians grow in numbers and the US economy is threatened by China’s rapid economic growth, it seems that for them some things might not go as planned...

Is there anyone who uses oxygen in a 1x combustion? It looks to me that this is about 3" pipe, and most of it can potentially be a chamber.
I can't imagine that sort of setup being deadly 10m away, even if the vortex transferred the energy really well. And surely if there was DDT, the vortex wouldn't be stable?

That's a bird cannon. I checked out the website, and I just don't see how loud booms would work on riot control without serious injury to folks' hearings. There are a lot of orchards and such there that benefit from the use of noise cannons to scare off birds. Same principle is used around airport runways for the same purpose.
