Why does my micro just stop working?

It works fine, then just stops, then after a while of being left, works fine again.
Some residue builds up coating the inside, if I get rid of it, will it help?
I use deodorant btw.

Cheers

More than likely you are spraying in too much and the mixture inside is too rich to ignite. Ease off on it a bit and see what happens.

After each shot, open it up and shake it around to let some air in.

Use some acetone (nail polish remover) to get rid of the residue.
