Well with the gun that lit up, that isn't supposed to happen. Is that even PVC?

Pretty much all of them light up, it's just tough to see during the day. That still you are referring to was captured from a video segment, it'd have been very difficult for me to take a pic like that with a still camera.
That particular gun isn't painted so I think it's easier to see the combustion take place. With my painted guns it's seems to 'dim' the flames, if you will. Thanks for everyones input and I do appriciate the kind words.
I just built another one named Lil' Red. A 2" x 29" PR s40 PVC barrel, and a 4" x 11" PR s40 PVC chamber. A friend and myself were shooting it Saturday night 1/20/06 in his backyard at cardboard targets just for fun. The first shot we took went through the target, split part of his fence in half and made a decent size hole in the hill outside of his gate.
Needless to say that was the only shot of the night after his wife caught wind of the situation. (Sorry I don't have pics of that, they'd have been nice!) BTW- We were only using potatoes! -Lp
