It won't shock you because you're not completing a circuit when touching only one piece, if you touch the other screw, or most other electrical parts of the camera (including the battery leads) at the same time, you'll get zapped.Scope wrote:It wont shock your hands because your hand has more resistance then the metal thus the electricity just wants to go through the metal contacts equalize... you can hold one of the leads and nothin will happen at this voltage... this is only true with DC.

I will put up a how-to shortly. I have not had any problem with the o-ring sealing. Or at least not any that i have noticed. I have shot the cannon about 20 or so times and didn't have any problem besides having to change battery.
