Which is why I was asking.

(im gonna be 16 in about 2 months, my parents dont hand me lighter fluid when I ask for it lol  )
hmm i dunno then, it won't really work with aerosol unless the ball is suspended half way up the barrel to give a chamber.

maybe you could liquefy propane :D

I suggest you have your parents or a responsible adult buy off and support what you're doing with your cannons....believe me it's better that way. Yes, it may take some lobbying effort...

I cant do a Tennis Ball dude. I live in like, a community thing and theres no where to shoot it. So in our back yard I loaded it with newspaper.
I will eventually, once i find somewhere good enough.

I just used mine today for the first time. I wasn't impressed. Is there a cb ratio that I missed somewhere? I used lighter fluid. I did get a pop but not what I expected. I used the one here as a template

I guess I'll try 2 more cans...Later

You'll need to sabot the tennis ball with something....a small rag or something... as standard cans are a little larger than the steel Pepsi cans were back in the day. Also, drill as large hole as possible in the center of the "spoked wheel".

It will work, trust me...although nothing as impressively as today's cannons. You've just got a little too much blow-by with the tennis ball and today's cans. Also, be sure to keep the lighter fluid squirt small.

Expect the cannon to get much hotter than pvc cannons you are used to.
