Ummm, list of things not to do.
Don't use cell core pvc.
Cement fumes are flammable, don't test the spark when your gun is full of them.
Don't forget to use both primer AND cement on pvc.
Don't mount the ignitor directly in the gun, it may blow out under pressure.

Thats all I can think of at the moment.

lol, i spelled i with 2 d the first time... then looked at ur name :D .
So is it ok to have the adapter in the comb chaimber or will that make a weak spot??

Edit:
I'm using ABS!! lol... but thanks for the tips. are people actually reading what I say or just reading the first and last lines and guessing??

Lol I knew you were using abs, I just thought I would put the pvc specific things in anyway.

no, not the reduser. a thread thing like m/f adapter to change barrels before the reduser.

thanks for the cement tip, I just figured out what u were talking about.
and can there be an elbow or between the combustion chaimber and the barrel??

also... wtf are spud bux??

Spudbux are something you can use to buy privileges like a signature and to change your title.

umm yea, the threaded things to change the barrel are usually called threaded reducers edit: no they are not, they are threaded adapters, and it is fine to have an elbow between the chamber and the barrel. That is how you make an "over under combustion".
trying to decide on a new project, probably something small.

so a threaded piece in the comb chaimber wouldn't weaken it too much??
because I want to threads before the reducing piece.

I was worried that with an angled piece that the compression would be too directional on abs... I'm prolly not gonna build that way anyways.
I pretty much have my idea formulated, I'll try to draw it up later on and post it here so more experianced people can tell me I'm doing stuff right.
trying to decide between a 3" or 4" combustion chaimber... 4" is probably overkill for my first cannon.

how acurate are these things?? can I shoot stuff acutatly enough to destroy electronics and study an easy way to make mashed potatos...

so once again, threads in the middle/edge of my combustion chaimber?? good/bad??
??

that is a video of my pneumatic, that might give you an idea of how accurate they are. that group is in about a one foot square. and i am not sure what you mean about threading stuff into the chamber?

what you should do is to glue a 4 inch to 1.5 inch reducer, then a male 1.5 inch threaded adapter on the barrel and a female 1.5 inch threaded adapter on the end of the 4-1.5 inch reducer.

I want to be able to shoot anything from potatos to golf balls to tennis balls...
So should I use a 4" or 3" chamber??
I was thinking of the m/f adapters before the reducer so I dont go from like 4" to 1 1/2" to 2" creating a small hole and losing some force.

so a m/f adapter wont explode?? I dont think it will, but better to ask then not to.

Also what are the sizes required to shoot differnt things??
