Hello,
I am new here. I ran across your site and thought you guys would like to see
my cannon. I have put hundreds and hundreds of rounds thru this thing, so please
forgive me if it looks dirty or "used". This gun belongs to the second
series of propane powered cannons and this one is the most advanced. The large
metal bracket on the front is for two things: 1. It protects the exhaust valve
entering the combustion chamber and 2. It also cuts spuds in half. The barrel
tip is sharpened making the spud a bullet shape as it goes down the barrel.
The flash supressor on the front is functional (if you consider functioning
to be a big x shape of fire). The second lower pipe is a push rod measured for
length and is custom made to fit into the composite frame so it snaps right
in. The barrel rifiling increases the accuracy 10 fold and it very deadly. If
the gun looks weird it because it is left handed (as am I). I hear people complain
about it and I tell em to build their own if they don't like it...

what size is the chamber and barrel. nice gun though.

the chamber is made from 4" and converts down to 2" for the barrel. It works best at about 30-40 PSI depending on the weather.

This has got to be the most McGyverish cannon I have ever seen in my life. Good idea using the D.C. inflater for an exhaust mechanism. That hasn't been done very often.

How many rounds do you think you could get off in a minute?

With a partner to reload I can gat about 4 solid rounds off a minute.... It would be faster if i removed the front cap everytime for new air.. .but turning on the exhaust take a few seconds longer... I usually let it run while the reloader is doin his thing.

Whoah, rifled barrel, is that from spudtech or homemade? or somewhere else?

I ordered it from Spudtech a couple years back when he was still open.

another fun fact is that there are two detonation points inside the chamber.
