Awwww, da widdle newbie need hewp
lol, just joking... Anyway, if by combustible ignition methods you mean ignition sources, then I would suggest a BBQ ignitor, as you are new, and probably shouldn't deal with homemade methods until you have more experience. I still use a grill ignitor, as I only have 1 combustion gun They only cost about 10 USD at Wal-Mart, and in most cases are very reliable, and the spark length is respectable. If you meant good combustion fuels, I have heard that propane is the best for the money/power, and it can be metered. I'd suggest reading up on the Spudfiles wiki, because it lists almost every conceivable ignition method, and has some nice charts and data for fuels. If you want to go cheap, use hairspray, but be ready to clean your gun when the chamber gets all gummed up.

The piezo electric BBQ ingitors work really well, but if you're lucky enough to find one the battery powered BBQ ignitors work 100 times better. they work just like a stun gun except you dont have to do any modifying to them. some even have two sets of leads coming off (hence multiple burners) so you can set up multiple spark gaps in the chamber. as for fuel i started with hairspray, which sucks, but have made the move to propane. if you go to home depot they have the basic kit for 13 usd which is just a tank and a head, with no built in ignitor, which is preferable so you dont accicentally burn the hell out of yourself. for my chamber 2' of 4"sch 40 with a 4' x 2" barrell 20 - 30 seconds works just fine but i am in the process of building a meter. anyway good luck

Next time, simply tell someone to search, or consult the wiki.
No links, No help!!!!!!!! or else they will continue begging to be spoofed.
If you can't do either of the above, just ignore the topic! Geeze.

You forgot an "n", Ben. You made it funnier though.
Cheap ignition method: Get some hand sanitizer on your finger. Light it on fire. Stick it in a hole in the bottom of your cannon. It will shoot!
You may also experience excruciated pain for a couple seconds.

I didn't think it was a typo- but it begs the question, "Why would anyone beg to be spoofed?"

heres what you do..
cut the plug off of your tv as close to the tv as possible. peel back the plastic coating on the wire and you should have 3 separates wires' a ground a hot wire and a common. drill two holes in your chamber and insert the black wire in one hole and the white wire in the other hole. spray in your full and then plug it in...
dont really do this. this probably isn't a good idea. ask a dumb question you get a dumber answer
next time before a post like this try the wiki button or the search button.. or my favorite.... Google...
and to anyone who says take it easy or anything.. if we take it easy on everyone who's asks simple easy questions like this then they'll never learn on there own and will keep asking questions like this. part of keep the forum clean on pointless posts is not spoon feeding simple answers like this to new people...
as a matter a ima make a new post in the forum suggestion you can all go check it out in about 10 min if you so choose.

To be serious and help the kid...
Often an easy, effective, but many times overlooked method would be as follows: Simply driving 2 screws into the chamber, keeping the ends close enough to maintain a good spark, and attaching your grill sparker accordingly to the screws.
