I ask why one would make their first post about something totally spudgun UN-RELATED? I have made this comment without looking at your links, i shall look now.
WELCOME TO SPUDFILES bluerose, please read the rules and posting ettiquite.
We as spudgunners love to see stuff fall, not he other way around
Edit: Still, Mike Jones, the grower's controller, acknowledged that the company doesn't have science on its side.

HI Novacastrian.
Thanks for the welcome.
As far as being totally spudgun un-related. I might ask if you acctually read the link?
They are about hail-CANNONS. Combustion cannons to be precise. I posted the links to keep the message short. But I have an interest in all types of cannons and thought that others might find this of interest too. True there was other info in the links, but the main focus was about the cannons.
I did read the posting ettiquit rules and it is possible that I missed something or misunderstood what I read. I have been involved in air cannons ever sense they came on the seen way back in the late 1990's.
In fact, I think I was the first on to combine a sprinkler valve and a piston in the same cannon after countless hours spent looking at everything I could find about them. Seeing who made what and so on and combining what I found and learned.
