I have a advanced combustion and ive had it for about a year now its starting to show signs of wear and tear there is big scratches with dirt and grime in the scratch making my gun look dirty and poorly built. Is there any kind of chemical or cleaning solution that is safe on PVC I could use? Any help will be nice thanks

Just wash it down good with dish soap and warm water until you get it "squeeky clean". Remove or mask off the parts you don't want painted and give it a paint job with Krylon Fusion paint (specifically for plastics). That will improve its looks a bunch.

Agreed Starman, and if you can’t find the color you want in krylon use it as a primer and then put on a coat or two of stuff you like.

Is it bad to use acetone or xylene? I've used them both to clean up pvc and paint goes over real nice assuming you let it all dry completely. This won't weaken pvc will it? Its only the surface

Acetone melts PVC. Although if you dilute some, you probably could use it in limited quantities.
