This is my first spud cannon ever

C.C : 8" of 3" pipe with bell reducer
Ignition: BBQ ignitor from Kiblers

Not really a smart idea to put the ignitor in the side of the chamber... Put it through a double-thick spot such as through a fitting

Might want to check your spelling the in the title.

Have you successfully fired the little boy yet?

it looks good. i wouldnt worry about the ignitor being where it is, it should be fine. the 30 or 40 psi it generates isnt enough to really cause a problem.

Well thats a decent looking cannon.
Ratio could be better though, a 36in barrel would be perfect.

Cant resist commenting on DWV, ahhhh.

wouldn't 36 inches be too long

Nope, it comes out at .811:1 and .8:1 is the best ratio for combustions.

Looks a lot better than my first combustion.
Hope to see your next one.
You already know about the ignitor.
(Maybe try drilling a small hole for just the leads or use two screws to build the spark gap. Next time).

Looks like fun to shoot.
Cool that the barrel is beveled for loading. 8)
