well yesterday me and a friend went to buy all the PVC, cement, caps, everything to do our spud gun...
well to make a long story short, we got the ignition system on put the potato in, put some deodorant (AXE) put the cap on, but it just didn't want to shoot.
Today i woke up, and i went to my garage to work on my spud gun, well i noticed after I put some deodorant on to the chamber, make a spark (fire was going on) and i closed the chamber with the cap, well the fire stopped... so i figured out that the problem was with something to do with oxygen...
well i need some help to fix my spud gun =(
Thanks in advance...

its not that you need more oxygen, its u need less fuel, only a 1/2 second burst should do, and you need to air out the chamber after you shoot

ya, sandman's right, what i would do is start with a 1/2 second burst and shoot it, if i doesn't fire, vent it out and try a 1 sec burst; keep doing this, increasing by 1/2 sec. each time until you find the amount that works best

Rule of thumb:
"When your spray'n'pray cannon doesn't fire because of fueling problems, then you have got too much fuel."

Tell your mom that building and properly operating your spudgun is an educational endeavour...(it really is). Dig into the science of how they work....you'll be fascinated and learn a lot!
Friendly tip. Work on using correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization when you post here. Not only is it part of the rules but you'll be taken much more seriously. Welcome to Spudfiles!

It means hahaha if you're spanish. The "j" is usually pronouned as an "h", like in "fajita".
Anywho, glad to hear it's working
