This is my first cannon, still working on it. It uses propane and has a built in air tank to clear the chamber, It could also be used to add more air to the chamber too, I guess. The cannon can be loaded from the back or the front, depending on what you're shooting. The design is kind of funky because it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it, but oh well, it was my first so I learned a lot from making it. I still need to paint it and put plastic dip on the fittings. I'm waiting for it to warm up outside so I can paint it. I'll post an update when it's done.

If you look in this directory, there are progess pics.

Holy Fricken Goddess of Satanic Lemurs, thats huge!!!

Im struggling to understand whats going on... Im pretty sure the section resting on your shoulder is the chamber right? Then why is there piping running from chamber to the other "section"? And what is that section there for, because if that is the barrel side why is it increased to 4"??? Nice gun, but Im totally lost to as whats happening on it...

I guess that the bottleneck causes the burning gasses to speed up and ignite the other chamber faster.

One question though, whats the KNO3 for?

Very nice, and big. I just about shat myself when I saw that beast.

The bottom is where the barrel goes on, I think. The back chamber I believe is for the built in air venting is held.

Yeah, it's a mirror, although I had to do a horizontal flip to make it look right.

The barrel runs throught the middle of the entire thing, up until the top where the back screws off. The bottle neck was originally going to rest on my shoulder but it didn't work out so well. What I should have done was use two flat reducer bushings instead of the other ones I used. This would have allowed me to slide the propane holder back another inch or two. The propane tank sticks out past the end of the barrel a little, which isn't good, so I need to figure out some way to take the stress off the propane holder. Right now, I'm checking/stopping air leaks before I paint it. The KNO3 is for a smoke grenade design I'm working on.
