Ok, so after almost a year of not visiting this site, I have made my return.

over the past year, I was finishing up High school, and all my spare time was spent working. Now summer is here, im free from school, and I am back!!

On topic now, I decided to make my return in the form of my very first ever combustion cannon. This being my first combustion, but not first cannon, I decided to make it a little spiffy, but still pretty basic.

It has a 1 foot by 2" clear PVC chamber.
It is fueled by aerosol, and ignited by a grill sparker.
The barrel is 2.5 feet by 1.25"

Tomorrow I will be shooting it for the first time, as the glue just finished curing this afternoon.

I will have some action shots tomorrow, but for now, here is what I have.

1.25" barrel...what are you planning on using for ammo.

It's kind of an odd bird, what with an expensive clear combustion chamber for a rather plain gun. You don't see many spray n pray over and unders.

It will be fun shooting at night...

Was that clear pvc a spare part drom something else? Plane jane cannon, but it'll still shoot a spud. Nice and clean.

Some night pictures of the chamber would be pretty cool...

C sized batteries fit oh so perfectly.

yeah, I still have about 3 feet of it left from using it between this and my automatic bbgun.

I'm using this cannon as a start into the combustion field. so im just trying to get my bearings before i go bigger, and more advanced.

Thanks yall!

Yeah, I just got back from shooting it, using small limes as the primary ammo, and some generic spray deodorant as the fuel.

Today is payday, so I plan on ordering some large diameter clear PVC. Heads up for a future cannon!

I was getting shots ranging from 100-150 yards out of this little beast!! (measured using distance wheel) It suprised me at how powerful a combustion gun can be!

jrrdw- Thanks! Its good to be back. Im liking that ammo idea, I think I know what Im going to do on the fourth since they arent even selling the good fireworks here this year. damn burn bans.

Yes, I do have a video camera, and the videos will be shot tonight and then posted shortly after.

STHRONE- Thanks man, I was pretty happy to find my clear pvc pipe after it being missing for around 2 months, so I put it to use!
