i just bought an electric grill igniter and the only thing i have to seal it is a silicone gel that hardens. i am not sure about the reliability of how well it will hold the sparkers in. I have searched the fourm and spud wiki and havent found anything yet. If someone has already tried this or has found something releating to this any info would be helpful.

Thanks,

If it's similar to Amazing Plumber's Goop, then it should seal and hold just fine. However, if it's the flexible stuff used for making gaskets...I wouldn't trust it without some epoxy.

silicon is a little rubbery, but it shouldn't matter, it should sort of act like rubber, it's not very conductive, but the best thing to protect your hand is a piece of 3/4" PVC
