one would think that a new sponsor who is trying to gain customers would set out a new topic promoting his cannon nicely and actually embed the video...

nice gun though.

He knows that damage vids sell, can't argue with that :) personally, I like.

Are all the shots done with spuds?

The gun looks great and performs great, but the price is still way to high. Drop the price a little bit and people will be interested.

how do you know they're not already interested? It might not appeal to regular users of this forum you are more keen on building their own than buying something ready made, but I'm sure someone with more money than time on his/her hands would be willing to cough up to own a well made spudgun.

Have you considered adding a chamber fan? Or does it have one? It's kinda hard to tell. (edit: Oh yeah it say so on the site. my bad:))

Yeah, if no one was buying them I guess he wouldn't be in business.

Indeed, he isn't targeting us, which wasn't necessarily clear at first (our previous sponsors sold lots of stuff to the average user), but now we have gort for that it appears.

Though that aluminum pistol grip would look excellent on a LAW...

I agree with both of you. I should have said more people will be interested.

A fun day of plinking ^^

The fuelling system looks rather nifty, I'm suspecting 2 check valves in there somewhere with the plunger drawing then driving the gas charge.

Drop the price to $1 and I'm sure yet moar people will be interested, however there is such thing as a critter called Thelesserspottedprofitmargin and there's no point in making things to sell without one around.

Not everyone who visits the site is a young student with just pocket money or a few hours of part time work to get things with.

Personally I'd have salvaged the flyback transformers out of the CRT screens before smashing them up, useful things.
