It is very cool, but the guy later messaged me to tell me it exploded while he was using it. It looks awesome and is a great spudders ornament, but pretty useless other than that. (Hunting on a desert island? haha!)

I like it. Ghetto at its finest.
Looks well-made too. The barrel threads in!! haha.

We don't need to increase the amount of coconuts that kill people annually..already beating sharks
I saw it and thought it was very cute...Would be a good bar ornament but impractical for use
Btw, just watched the vid and I think there's a bottle cap with a hole in it glued into the chamber and there's the neck of a bottle slid over the pipe..shoulda painted the lid too

Nope..oh well. (I'd like to..) Do you have the baskets under coconut trees to stop them falling on peoples heads there? Or was that somewhere else..
Next time we're shopping I might try find a very small, heavy, hard and smooth coconut..

Originality award.
It really fits the theme for a day of spudding on a beach.

Really original there. Those things are certainly tough enough to do the job.
That's as many UK soldiers that have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001.
I haven't seen an anti-coconut/anti-gravity march, ever.

George Burgess wrote:Falling coconuts kill 150 people worldwide each year, 15 times the number of fatalities attributable to sharks,"
As said..
Hmm..if I were to build one I'd find a better method of venting without making the coconut too weak. A less than bottle cap sized hole in such a chamber could make things difficult.
Edit: Fix'd

George burgess was the guy talkin 'bout coconuts in the article. They didn't have a spudfiles quote option
