Hey,
I'm planning my new, second spud gun with propane tank, fan, etc...
I have got a little question about the fan and its power supply:
So I'll use a little piece of PVC pipe as a handle. In the handle there'll be placed the ignition and the batteries for the fan. I'll cut a little hole in the pipe and put a on/off switch in it. But I don't really know how to cable the batteries with the on/off switch. I need a switch, where the cables can just be connected to.
Which of these switches would work:
Link works now

The linking-function of the other site didn't work so this is the picture:

(Sorry my English is bad -.-)[/b]
Which on/off switch can I use?
The link doesn't work. You can find a working link on the page of a product, you can't copy the URL.
I think that almost any switch will work for a fan. A switch is nothing more then a bit of copper touching another piece of copper. Unless you are dealing with high voltages or currents, any switch will do the job.

Hmm actually the batteries wont be going for the switch they would be connected to the fan intself... the switch would also have to be connected with the batteries b.c that way it can cut of electricity when you want it off and on when you want the fan running... I would suggest you buy 3 or 4 aligator clips to do some testing with the electronics before electrically solderig everything that way you dont screw up any parts.. even though you would only have to reheat and redo the solder job.. but its less messy and less of a hazzle...
