I just stumbled across the site and figured i'd share my simple tater guns :)
I built the larger one first about 3 years ago when i was 16. 4"chamber to a 2" barrel. Ive had a ton of funwith it but it was hard to take anywhere if i didnt have a truck to use so i went and bought some reducers and made my smaller one. Its a blast! 4" chamber to a 1.5" barrel this time.(great for FREE crab apples and 1/2 potatoes)
My ignitor isnt in either picture but i use the same one for both. I used a bbq ignitor in a threaded end cap. I use a crimp-on electrical terminal with a nail jammed into it for a more reliable spark off the side of the ignitor.

Ive made one of each for my cousin also.
Ive been looking over instructions on how to build a pnuematic tennis ball gun and hope to give that a try with in the next few weeks but being away at schools kinda limits me.
Thanks for looking guys[/img]

nice, clean guns. for tennis ball guns, something as simple as a 4 foot long under/over sprinkler valve launcher will throw a TB at least a hundred yards, more if you burn the fuzz off or fill it with water
