Hello, sorry for my bad english,
My RR6 is made with pvc
ratio: 1.08 - using 5.4% vol. butane (refill lighters)
speed recharging
firing 45mm bouncing ball
3dsmax developped for best "sizing" into all elements.
electronic sparking
lib developped by me.
chamber 55 CI canon 50 CI
a valve (see it on 4° photoshoot on top left) made by me, is hand opened ( a spring is for close automatically )
the butan gaz is reguled and mixed with a "venturi" system,
venturi system example here : http://www.cegep-ste-foy.qc.ca/freesite ... enturi.swf
or this, working with venturi effect: http://www.campingaz.com/FR/images/Prod ... /23814.jpg

the venturi is optional, but it make a better mix.

the important point is : the flow of the butane is in adequation with the flow of the fan, reguled with the little faucet.
this make a perfect and permanent reguled mix.

Very nice, I love the overall look!

Shame the magazine is not self-indexing though, maybe you could add a spring and detent? After executing such a fine piece of work it shouldn't be a big deal.

WOW! Beautifully done. Very unique design for a combustion. Your fueling and ignition system seems very consistant...the rotary loader and breach setup looks painfully simple to use for what I am sure required significant engineering effort.

It looks relatively lightweight and the layout of everything is really well done. Exceptional cannon!!

Welcome to Spudfiles!

Great work, beautiful balance of implementation.

With the 360 degree flow out the chamber (4 elbows) surprised spent fuel/oxygen doesn't have a noticeable effect on consistency. I can see a lot of designer deduction took place, backyard builder respect.

@pimpmann22: in the red box: this black box contains the electronic ignitor and battery, you can see the red wires on right, going into chamber.

thanks

Further to my suggestion on making the magazine automatic, this is how the ratchet mechanism on my Daystate magazine works:

Hey, Nice combustion cannon you got there!

Do you use a butane refill cartridge for lighters or a normal propane bottle?

Could you explaine how the "venturi system" works or do you know a good manual? Your link is no longer available.
