Still Spraying into the back of the chamber, although after running out of Static Guard this weekend, I raided my Father in Law's Laundry Room and found a new fuel source. K2R Spot Remover.. It's a game changer.. 1 second burst into the chamber was sending golf balls 400 plus into the lake..

Anyway, I took an old license plate and the handle from a packing tape dispenser for the bottom handle which is very comfortable. The trigger mechanism is a standard electronic bbq lighter and the handle from and old gas grill.

Looking forward to going to the next level with a pneumatic or hybrid..

Very Nice... I Like. The only thing I want to know about is that reducer. It is rated for pressure, because around here DWV reducers look like that. Other than that It looks awesome. I'd love to see it with regulated propane instead of spray and pray though. Good Job.

It's combustion... most combustions use DWV parts. They are fine for combustions as they only are exposed to high pressure for a few milliseconds.

I dont think it will be a problem since in is spray and pray, i would like to see something stronger on metered propane.

Good job. Also don't sitck your face behind the back cleanout cap. It also isn't pressure rated and they commonly blow out...

Very nice, especially for 2nd effort! I am personally a fan of spray and pray. It's old school . . . an art form. You've got some really cool features for just your 2nd gun. I like the tape dispenser handle, very creative. I also like the d-ring looking thing on the clean-out. I've been meaning to get to that on one of my guns someday but have still been relying on the good ole' strap wrench to work sticky clean-outs. Like the ignitor. Is it dual spark or single? With a chamber that size (looks HUGE) you may want to consider dual spark. It will increase reliability quite a bit. I'm not even going to get into pressure rated vs. not. Its a combustion . . . it hardly matters. Nice gun dude, keep them coming!

For a spran-n-pray, ABS is more chemical resistant to most solvents. PVC was made for just water. ABS was made to withstand drain cleaners and other household chemicals that go down the drain.

ABS is more impact resistant and less lilely to break into shards.

THanks for the comments guys! I'm thinking about trying to build a pneumatic golf ball gun that I can fit into a golf bag. Should be good for a gag on the tee box once in a while...

Don't really know anything about pneumatics.. Pretty confused about the whole "burst disk / valve" thing as well as PSI / Volume... Anybody got ideas?

I belive you are wrong on that point. PVC and ABS are both used in the DWV systems of homes. PVC has to be able to withstand the same drain cleaners as ABS because they are used in that same aplication. While ABS may be less likely to shatter, in the pipe's intended aplication they must be capble of withstanding the same chmicals.

Do we seriously need to have the EVER on going PVC vs. ABS debate? Really? It's on 37 zillion threads here. Can we either agree to disagree or just move on with it already? For a combustion it's almost irrelevant. We all like what we like for our own reasons. We don't need to hijack this thread to kick a dead horse. Dude built an awesome gun especially for round 2. Lets not take that away because we all need to debate polymers. Lame.
