In the data input area it asks for your meters "residual volume". What exactly is the Residual Volume. Its confusing me, Im probably making it more complicated than it needs to be.
thanks,

The molar mass of propane is 44.11 g*mol-1, you can assume the ideal gas law (R is roughly equal to 8.314 J*mol-1*K-1 ) to hold in most practical cases, and use 21% as the volumetric oxygen content of air. It's also generally recommended to aim for a stoichiometric, or slightly fuel rich (probably no more than %fuel*1.1) mix.
If it's the physical relationships themselves that are giving you trouble, I recommend that you consult any general sciences text aimed toward a 13-16 year old audience, which should clear that up in roughly 5 minutes.
