I do only coke bottle guns. I've never seen the pvc for an american spud gun in any shop here.

you only use american made material and coke bottle guns are cool i think i might make one mind if i steal one of your ideas

In the tutorial video, I recommend warping some rag around the bottle. Anyway, that bottle is pressure tested by the fuzzy drink. It's way more safe then any brittle plastic. PVC can fragment. I've tested very thick pipes, they can be nasty.
