I'm going to the Slidell Wal-Mart to look for a mini camping fan for this thing. It will be a lot more powerful once I get the fan installed.
UPDATE:

I just installed the fan, (finally found one at Wal-Mart).
These fans are about 3x better than a little PC fan!!! Vents in literally moments and mixes the fuel, (even in my long-ass chamber), like nothing else. First shot was
LOUD
and left an imprint and a lot of green fibers on a log I shot it at. I found the tennis ball, and it was, of course, ruptured. 8)
And, here are some other pictures I took that aren't posted yet.

That's all the photos I'm gonna take!!! Some good videos will come shortly as soon as I can get the opportunity to take them! Remember, the small video a few posts down was taken before the addition of the fan, (HUGE boost of power). Stay tuned.

Looks good. What's the ratio on it? It could use a nice paint job of course. And the video was pretty short. How about damage from filled and frozen tennis balls?

The ratio is 0.98:1. I'm working on the water filled damage shots. 8)
I really don't feel like painting it. The entire reason I bought clear primer was so that I didn't need to paint it! A clean construction does it for me. I filed off all the lettering, (except for the handle), and then cleaned the pipe before I glued it all together.

To make it look nice without painting, just rub it down with some laquer thinner. It will take all of the lettering and dirt off, reduce the appearance of scratches, and give it a shiny finish!
Like I said before, good job!

Yeah, I tried a brillo pad and some Mineral Spirits, but it didn't get the lettering off. I just grabbed the file and took that stuff off.
I started to file off the letters on the fitttings, (on the barrel end), but I stopped halfway through that. I left the National Sanitary Foundation markings after I quit... because I wanted it to be a CLEAN cannon! HA HA HA HA HA - Okay, now I'll stop.
EDIT: Here's your video Shrimphead. Don't quite know what the hell happened with the audio. I think my camera doesn't like loud sounds...
Here lies a dead PutFile link

You did do a nice job on the clean construction. I noticed that the letters weren't there and I wondered if you had just painted it white.

Those are awsome little fans i used to buy those exact same ones from a dollar store near me. The motor is pretty big for what they are.

wouldn't acetone (nail polish remover) get the lettering off? That's what primer and solvent has in it.

Maybe, but it was much simpler to just file it off and polish up with mineral spirits.

dont use chemicals like laquer or nail polich remover to clean it it will make the pvc weak and brittle and more likley to explode, you shouldent even paint it with laquer based paints.

Krylon fusion.Nice cannon.Makes me want to build a new cannon. Btw. The chemicals may weaken the cannon but not too much, as long as you dont drown it with the stuff.
I like the cannon, alot better then pc fans.

reaper613 - cleaning off lettering and dirt with mineral spirits will not weaken the PVC to any extent. Pipe cleaner is designed to do this, and it is a much more powerful solvent than mineral spirits.

Nice cannon and is that fan one of those self-cooling hand fan things for like hot days?Wont the brushes on the motor ignite the mixture?Get the damage pics of the waterfilled ball up already!
