when using a fan and a breech loaded canon. do you need to remove the endcap to let fumes vent? im trying to simply things here and make loading and firing more of rapid fire(just cut down on turn around time).. i was also considering cutting my threads down on my barrel so im not there for 10seconds unscrewing the barrel to load..does this seem like a good idea?

#1 Go with cam locks or a bolt for a breech loader.

#2 you need 2 openings in your gun, 1 for air in and 1 for air out for the fan to vent it. You should just put a ball valve on one end and open it to vent.

simple, go to your local plumbing store(not to be confused with lowes/home depot which are hardware/construction stores that don't carry proper plumbing supplies). They should have some there, just ask about cam locks.
