is it possible to make a semi auto spud gun. well i'm trying. it will be done in a couple months. does anyone have any suggestions. it will be a combustion cannon that runs on hairspray. it will have three chambers and three barrels. it will pretty much be three guns put into one. do you think this will work? i dont see why it won't .

You don't know what a spud gun is, and I hope that the world isn't put in danger with you and a organ style potato gun.

First off, if that’s semi-automatic, then so are double-barrel scatterguns.
Second, it’s just three guns put together, if it doesn’t work it’s probably the lose nut on the trigger.

Biker how is that going to be semi-auto? Like me taking 3 1700's one shot muskets and saying 'ooo ive got semi-auto, i can shoot 3 at a time'.

I really never was a nub.
I simply just did research and learned the principles before I even touched a tool. I was 12 when I first learned what a potato gun was and I slowly learned about these things and eventually I came to a enough knowlegge to build my own.

You were once “new” to spud guns; you weren’t born with a spud gun in your hand and an unlimited knowledge of spud guns, so there for you were once a “noob” ( Noob is not a word, it’s newbie, but at least noob makes more sense than “nub”, Dee Da Dee!)

Seriosly though, there are noobs, and then there are annoying noobs. I was once a noob but I researched and had been building cannons and spudguns long before I joined this forum. Biker is an annoying noob cause he doesn't research before he talks (thats kinda worded weird).

Guys, get off Biker's nuts.

I PM'ed him and explained that he needs to read the Wiki and research spudguns more before he starts any threads or asks any "noobie" questions in other people's threads. He wrote back and said he will.

The forum patrons need to be more sensitive about this $hit - Post links to the Wiki and other helpful material instead of flaming newbies. That's what I do, and it actually helps people learn, instead of pisses them off.
