this is my first spud gun. it doesnt look so pretty and it has a lot of mistakes on it( that i tried to cover up). it fires though, it goes a fairly good distance. i named in Mr. Owl. ignition is from a long lighter, i shoot potatoes ( suprises) and i use old spice high endurance for fuel.

mr owl( best design on there even though it sucks)

the hovercraft was harder and more expensive. that was 100 bucks ( but i have extra stuff from it). the spud gun cost me 5 bucks. 2 dollars in total for pvc, 3 dollars for ignition. and i had screws glue and paint around the house

thats not bad for a first attempt. in the third pic is that the sparker wire next to your thumb ? if it is try taping it around the barrel. makes it look neater and you wont rip it on something because it wont be hanging around.
maybe try giving the whole thing a coat of paint and then putting its name on over that. or mask the name off.

ok heres a couple things
ya i sohuld put the wire down. but i didnt do it yet cause i was out of glue. lol

also with the paint, the ignition was already on there so i didndt paint the whole thing. i can try painting it again though. maybe a new ignition too that one is uh not that great

Now that's efficient... I thought your barrel said "meow" on it. Honestly, that woulda been a better name. :)

Looks like you have just one section of pipe with an elbow on the end. I meant efficient in that you used a very small number of parts. :)

i just thought of something that would be really fun to shoot out of a spud gun. a ruber band ball. at like a cement wall. cause its easy to shape for it and it would bounce

I would imagine a rubber band ball wouldn't work out too well unless you partially wrapped it in a cloth or something. Too many gaps all around, know what I mean?
