Noobie chamber fan, propane injection, and stungun ignition

Hi,
first post. Ive built a few combustion launchers, but am now beginning to move up in terms of what i am making.

I was wondering if the clear sch 40 pvc barrel and non rifled chamber sold at the sgtc can be used with regular pvc fittings and cement. I am pretty sure they can but I would much rather be safe.

I also had a few questions about chamber fans. It's okay to just leave the chamber fan in the chamber during ignition? it doesn't just desinitigrate or char or meet an untimely death? Also, how do i create one of those neat little black boxes that mount on the outer chamber walls with a switch that controls the chamber fan?

Propane Injection. All that is required for this is soem hose, and some of those metal zip tie things. I have a few, dont know what they are called, a psi indicator, and a valve? Is it assembled like : tank, torch head, hose, copper pipe w/ meter, valve, and then a hose to the inside of the chamber? Also, could this entire setup be attached to the bottom of the chamber? in a sort of over under fashion?

Stun gun ignition. For stungun ignition, would it be feasible to somehow mount the stungun on the bottom into a sort of handle? and anyone know the fuel efficiency increase from using a multiple spark stungun ignition?

Thanks. Any help with my questions is appreciated. i recently found out how well evolved these things are, past just some piping and a piezo.

For the little black box for the chamber fan go to radio shack if you live in america and buy a project box and the switches you want drill or cut the holes for the switches and put them in....etc...........

First and foremost good job on moving up. Now the clear stuff is only good for combustions, the fans dont meet an untimel demise because the ignition only lasts a few milliseconds and the boxes ome from radio shack but I have to stick with regular switches :( . Youve pretty much got the basics for the propane injection except you could get proper diagrams for one looking through the how to section. And I have no doubts with some wire and a heap of tape you could make it an over under type cannon. And last just pull your stun gun apart and put all the internals in a pvc tube with extended wires to some screws or bolts for the multiple ignition you seek.

Good luck and post it up ASAP :thumbright:

Just another question on Combustion Fans (save making another thread),
Where should I put the fan? currently, I'm only able to put the fan down the very bottom of the combustion chamber. and should i have it blowing into the chamber or out of the chamber (keeping in mind the end cap is on the chamber and that the potato is in the pipe thing). It's a CPU fan hooked up to a simple 12v battery, I cut off the connector of the CPUfan so i can just make the circuit with my hand etc. Good idea? bad Idea?
There's nothing protecting the Fan, Is it a good idea protecting it?
Thankyou, again.
