Hey, I'm just wondering how other people use their guns etc.
From putting that potato into the gun to firing it, and all the steps inbetween, Please include turning on/off the fan, how and where you insert the gas, your own way or your little trick to making it go that further distant. thankyou.
heres mine
1) screw bottom cap
2) spray gas into the chamber from the top
3) put in the potato
4) turn on fan, let the gases mix
5) turn off fan
6) ignite using BBQ lighter
That's probably very basic in comparison to everyone else's hehe.

1) attach pump head to presta valve
2) pump for ~30 seconds
3) detach pump
4) put safety on
5) unscrew breech lock
6) slide barrel forwards
7) load ammo
8) slide barrel back
9) rescrew breech lock
10) take safety off
11) fire!

4) aim
5) should be at 100-110 psi
6) shutoff the air
7) turn off air compressor
8 ) hole gun down to ground
9) pull the pilot-ballvalve
10) bang!
11) hole through computer-tv-cement wall..i mean block not wall

5.) Detach Bike Pump
6.) Attach Suppressor to end of barrel
7.) Remove Safety
8.) Aim

Well for my pneumatic,

1) Load ammo

2) Compress to 60 psi- I need to get some new pipe, so I'm not using this gun anymore above that- I don't think its pressure rated....But it holds up fine up to 60 psi..Going to get some new pipe...

3) Aim with laser sight ( a laser pointer :D )

4) Turn ball valve- soon to be a sprinkler valve

5) Inspect damage...

I'll post what I do for my combustion once I can use it- its ventilating as we speak...I'll have to wait till tomorrow for all the fumes to go away...

1 push schrader valve filler thing to shrader valve

2 fill to 30 or 40 psi

3.remember the ballvalves open and close it and fill again

4. listen to air seeping out and think i realy should fix that

5 turn ball valve and hear cerchuck instead of thuwomp

6 open the piston valve and find out i forgot the bumper

7. swear loudy and hope that helps fix the piston

this dosent happen every time just once

Mike_is, i would load the ammo before filling with propellent, its safer and doenst allow any to escape during loading

Nevermind, steps to firing a pneumatic are still as useful

For my over/under propane metered combustion:

If the cannon was just fired, before firing again, vent out the chamber (by opening vent valve and turning fan on for 10 sec).

1) Unscrew barrel breech from chamber, insert projectile, and close breech.
2) Ensure chamber vent valve is closed, and the second (chamber-side) ball valve on the propane meter is closed.
3) Open needle valve on propane tank 1 1/2 - 2 turns.
4) Wait for gauge to read 70 psi. Close first (tank-side) ball valve on meter pipe, then open second (chamber-side) ball valve to vent the "shot" of propane to the chamber.
5) Repeat step 4 (two shots of propane at 70psi... I need a longer meter pipe.)
6) Turn off needle valve.
7) Turn on fan, turn off safety switch.
8) Aim
9) Fire
10) Open chamber vent valve and let fan run for 10 sec.
11) Vent propane from meter pipe (unless you're about to shoot again)

I'd post the procedure for my old sprinkler valve pneumatic but it's pretty damn self explanatory and several people have already described it.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

PS - LMAO that it made the #8 bullet into a smiley.
