This is a picture I took and posted under my topic of homemade valves. The problem is that the orings exert too much friction on the inner tube, so it has difficulties moving. I am working on some kinda milling method to get this tube smaller in our diameter. I tried with sanding paper but its hard to get the radius even. I also realized that if you make the tube too small it is very keen'' to leaking when u move it perpendicular to the copper fitting.

Hello again ant. Just wanna check how your prototype is going, got it working or put the project aside? well I wonder cus I'm now making a drozd-type gun myself, have actually come quite far. but like the pedantic I'am, I'll be happy if it will be working before summer ^^

It didnt work as the sliding seal had too much friction for the hammer to slide or it had too little which made the whole system leak. So go for something like a valve/hammer or piston setup:)

Okey I understand, well my valve mechanism is allready made, not tested thow. the sliding problem wont happen since I will have a relatively strong feather and solenoid. but Im having a bad feeling of leakproblems coming up, after all its 60bar co2..

sorry for the lack of response. the build is going forward but yester day was a bad day. my plan was to take a pipe for the co2 and weld it together with the main housing. Well it didn't work, stop it from leaking was harder than i taught and that was just with water without no pressure. I tryed both mig/mag and tig welding, so now i am out of ideas =/

try to solder it (the holes) and then quench it. Like this it should be able to withstand higher pressures. When you use the extra soldering agent the solder flows in holes with ease:) Good luck! Do you have any pics of the valve?

BTW the pic of the lego set, the one that is on the 3rd page of this thread is not fake it is a work of art created by some polish artist, AFAIK he got to jail for that

I actually thought of that but was curios if it would attach to the metal or not. But maybe your right, its defenetly worth a try!
I'll wait with the pics until I'm done or completely fails
if this soldering works its ready to be tested, wether it works or not its a long way to go until im done, but hang in there!

The Drozd is sold online yes. I only brought this up for inspiration. I did make the copper valve myself. But the magazine on the first page is from some website:)

I'll stick with the pressure washer handle.
If you remove the outer body and just use the valve itself, you can have the CO2 12 gram adapter inside of the grip and the flow coming out towards the back ( make your own trigger)
That way you could build an UZI like bbmg off of 12 grams, ultra compact.

You mean its a good idea to buy the magazine with valve and co2 adapter:
And build you own stock/triggering around it?
