30 cents each? That's quite expensive... I know I managed to purchase 11/32" low-carbon steel balls on McMaster for less than 5 cents each. No idea what shipping was. I do however see the value of 6mm diameter, but McMaster also sells 6mm "bearing-quality aircraft-grade E52100 alloy steel" for 11.3 cents each.
