Hello dear spuders :D

I've made the semi-auto valvue for under 20$ with some help of wyz for the chamber (thanks wyz :D)
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/semi-au ... 23626.html
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/how-to- ... 24038.html
the only thing i did different is that i attached a barrel (just some aluminum pipe from the hardware store) with some hot glue, as you can see bellow
Image

Now i don't like the slide valve because it isnt a easy trigger it so i was wondering is: is there a way to make it electric using 12v dc for instance? or is there any other kind of way ?

i have searched on spudfiles and found some information but its to overwhelming for me to understand, i am not a expert. so please in easy to understand language and with ebay links ( i live in the Netherlands) so i can buy the parts and shoot my gun with more joy :D

Hope that anybody can help me!

I recently thought the same and ordered this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2V025-08-DC-12V ... 3a72aa439e

Still waiting for it to arrive, but it should work well.

There are other three way valves of course:

Lol i was exacly looking at that the same ebay link this afternoon :D but i thougt that it would not act the same as a slide valve (close the compressor part en open the qev part) or does it ?
cause otherwhise i am going to order the electonic one, cause it would probably take 3-4 weeks before it arives

If you want to same effect as the slide valve, you need something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Air-Control-2-P ... 4ab9d4a42b

You could vent (trigger) the QEV with just about any electric valve. A small sprinkler valve would work, or even the solenoid valve from a dishwasher or washing machine. Kind of like the valve at:
http://www.inpharmix.com/jps/diaphram_valve_BBMG.html

24 Vac solenoid valve. Inlet valve has 3/4" male thread and has a filter screen. Mounting flanges on both sides of inlet with screw slots on 1.5" centers. Metal outlet valve with 1/2" male pipe thread. Includes a compression nut with 0.53" hole and rubber bushing. Plastic solenoid body, inlet valve and diaphragm housing. 0.25" qc solder terminals on solenoid.

Yea but than you need to disconnect the compressor every time you want to shoot right ? (i am exacly considering it cause than the hose of the compressor wouldnt be in the way) but than again i cant use it in later projects( i am thinking of hooking it up to a adruino and make a tank with bb gun :D)

You could also mount the slide valve with elbows so that it is above/under the QEV so that you have to trigger it the wrong way. Then build a stock or reciver so that you can make a trigger that could act as a leaver, making it easier to fire it (Because it is a leaver).

if i look at the technical design than it still works the same (normaly closed pipe than when electricity is addes it opens)

i have just bought the one that was on the first comment, just to try out and maybe later one get some sort of way to make it work on a rc car or something
