hi all, names Dave
getting into airsoft and as with everything o do i like to be a bit different
so i want to build rather than buy an air powered multi shot bb gun and am after some advice
i want to use a 3kg fire extinguisher in a back pack as the air tank and am thinking about going two different directions with the build
option 1: use a qev with a 2 pos 3 way valve
option 2: using a electronic actuator mounted to the top of the tank and it would simply depress the valve on the top of the fire extinguisher to fire a shot
so i would like to hear what you guys think on the pros and cons of these 2 options
Dave

Are you thinking of a semi-automatic mechanism? What are you planning for a magazine?

Have you considered a small solenoid valve? For example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-4-DC-12V-Ai ... 1277224522

Yeah, and more than enough flow for sniper power levels in airsoft even at low pressures.
