I will make a video soon.JSR wrote:Then show us! yeeesh! You're the biggest tease I know, and you don't even have breasts!
Did you know that steel BB's can rip cans in half and make them jump out of a box? It is a lot of fun. I totally killed 15 cans and dented a thick aluminum block. Awesome can-carnage.
My box full o'cans was meant as backstop, but it became a target...
This is ofcourse all recorded on video.
I think I'll skip the BB BFWB and just machine one for 16mm marbles... but I will need tougher cans to shoot at... like oil drums.
But as I said, you can expect a new video this weekend, or maybe monday in the evening. I'll see if I can get my lazy ass to put the vids of how I completely rape a box of cans together.

I'm quite sure that's not allowed on this forum.psycix wrote:I'll see if I can get my lazy ass to put the vids of how I completely rape a box of cans together.
Videos of rape? That must come under both illegal and pornographic. :tongue3:
I'll get me coat.
It's bloody freezing outside, and I'm not allowed to build cannons indoors.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Hello, what's this? If you think you're ripe for some British insults, you're all right bloody buggers thinking with the bollocks you sods don't have.
Now, if you blighters are quite done with all this tosh, shall we move on from this frightful affair?

@ JSR, I thought you would want to assemble it in more of an over under configuration, instead of having the mechanism perpendicular to the barrel,
Is that the way you are keeping it? or is that configuration just for testing and tinkering, because with the over under you could have a good chance of making it look more like a real *ergonomic* firearm if you intend to continue using this valve.

Yeah I must admit I thought it was going to be an over under too, but hey what do we know?

That was the original idea, this is just for testing. This wasn't really meant to become a complete launcher, I'm just trying out the mechanism.sputnick wrote:I thought you would want to assemble it in more of an over under configuration, instead of having the mechanism perpendicular to the barrel,

Land Rovers and Spud Guns, it's enough to send any man broke
As for an oleo spring, I was thinking of putting a splash of oil in the cylinder to help seal, but I like the sound of a full hydraulic spring with remote air canister. It would probably cause too much dampening for a low pressure valve, but for high pressure systems it would be just the ticket[/quote]
