Wowwww!!,great work Brian:ive not been on here in a while but thats fantastic great Bondo work 8) I know all about that and its hard work to get the desired shape smooth, especially being black.

I apologise if this has been stated but I couldnt see mentioned anywhere how the hell you refill the BB's into the Qev Chamber???,I have a 1/4" Qev Valve and pressure washer handle .After seeing this I'd love to have a crack at making one similar but sadly I dont think I can as I cant get hold of the 12 Gram Quickchanger here in OZ and dont think it would pass the bastard Aussie Customs  ,Myself and everyone on here are hanging out to see what this thing can do!!!??................

Muzzle load I suspect. Try cycling stores for cartridges.

He could also load em by unscrewing the plug thats in the pilot port.
Or by simply unscrewing the QEV itself. A QEV body consists of two pieces.

Thank you.
I unscrew the bottom completely and hold it upside down when filling.
Muzzle load I suspect
Yeah right... :D

Better idea!
Expensive, but a legal source.I believe they carry 16 grams.
I've also heard of them being used in whipcream dispencers.
I know all about that and its hard work to get the desired shape smooth, especially being black.
All inspired by your work. After I'd seen your bbmg's on Spudtech, it was always in the back of my mind.
It;s not perfect yet, and I might need to break it apart to fix the valve. It has a small leak.Best chance is, it;s caused by the trigger mod.
Without 12 grams I can't tell at the moment.
When I fix it, I'll finish it to 100%

After all your failures to get the bb's to feed, try the QEV.

Close up the exhaust port, fill up with bb;s and connect a compressor to the chamber side of the QEV.
You'll find one pops out after another.

Thats usually N2O.
Also great for parties or to enhance combustion engine performance you know.
Im not sure what pressure they run at. Wiki:
Their interior volume is 10 cm3 and most brands contain 8 g of N2O under pressure.

Guys you misunderstood what I was saying?,I can get the co2 bulbs anywhere: I can go buy the 12 gram ones from the gun shop BUT I meant I cant get one of those 12 gram co2 bulb quickchanger thingees the silver tube device you are using that holds+ pierces the Co2 bulbs unless I can make one up?....................

Ahh, I've never really inspected a qev before. Heres an idea for ya. Get a syringe, and drill a hole in the bottom large than your bb's. Put it over the barrel and press the plunger down. I reckon that would be quicker than using a plug, although to be fair I've never really tried.

Awesome bondo/epoxy work.

BC arm sells the adapter thingies.

I´m sure he can find a way of getting it to you.

That made no sense.
Gravity prevents the bb´s from roling up into the QEV.So I´d only be able to fill up the barrel that way...And the tube leading to the bottom.
Trust me.It works best the way it is.

Brian, Whats the rate of fire like though with this feeding method?,does it feed ok without jams? im tempted to modify my QEV and try this out! but my Pressure Washer Handle is huge so will have to modify it somehow?.The 1/4" QEV I have was pretty expensive when I bought it years ago from memory it was $40.00 Aust!? parts are too damn expensive here mate, one thing though I suspect on this feed method :the elbow used above the qev to feed bbs to barrel will wear out so I might look for a stainless item?........................

Alright...I'll take your word for it.

Everything like that is more expensive in aus. Something we have to live with.

It feeds consistently. It worked even when lungpowered.Considering I use lead .177 bb´s, you could say it works very well.

By the time the elbow wears out, I´ll be broke from all the 12 grams I´d had to buy..

No idea on RPS though.I´m just glad it works this well, and feeds without jamming.

you don+t need to modify the QEV.Just plug the pilotport and fill up the inside to level the bb´s.
You could do this by making a disc that fits the inside and tapping a bolt into that through the pilot port.
That way it´s all reversable.
Just don´t loose the piston.
First try it lungpowered, if that works, you´re good.

Well how many bb's do you put in and how long does it last with that?
On average.

New pics and final update on this thing.
I sold it for a re-dick-ulous amount... :D

My customer wanted it as small as I could make it.
So the style evolved from that...

How you like it now??

Paint is still drying in the last two pics. The other pics are before I added the rubber grip and second coat of paint..It looks more shiny that it is in real life..cause of the flash.Still...it isn't my favourite flat black...anyway..this paint is more scratch-resistent..

Nice on a brouchure..It would have been a shame not to share these pictures with you eventhough I still had to add the rubber grip coating.
