I,m trying to get the picture loaded, it did not get through the first time.

Sorry about the rps, it should be 600 rpm.

you always have to put us to shame with your spectacular work
That looks like some quality machining there, as always
Care to share the details of the breech mechanism and mag feed?

Thanks as always for the comments Jack. At some point I will take the gun apart and photo everything. As for putting anyone to shame, I,m just trying to share what I have with everyone. It,s not ego, just what I do.
I do want to ad that I have learned a lot from everyone on here. That.s why I keep going in this crazy hobby. Now if I could only sell something. Just kidding, I,m not in that business.

Don't worry, for the level of craftsmanship you display you must be one of the humblest members on here
There are some excellent ideas on here, but sadly not everyone has the facilities to flesh out those ideas in the real world. It's always good to see someone with acess to the right tools and materials put them to good use.
I'm really curious about how it feeds and fires, is it some sort of blowback/forward mechanism?

It really works like a full auto airsoft gun. It is blowback. The piston has a spring that pushes it back and hits the air valve and goes forward again. The trigger was a bit complicated but works. The same system could be used for spud guns. I have not gone there yet.

Okie, more questions: Is the magazine a gravity-fed hopper like on paintball guns or spring-loaded like airsoft? What sort of pressures are you running at and any clue what sort of velocities you're getting?

It would work with a compressed air gun. I would like to try propane but have not yet figured out the continuous fire system. I have a prototype system that works that way but requires a continuous spark. When the chamber reaches the right ratio it just fires automatically.
The mag is spring loaded in the tube on top. I don,t like the looks of hoppers. It can also be suction fed but that.s another system.
I,m not sure about the velocities. However I did fire at a full can of soda from 30 feet and the plastic bb went right through.
It uses regulated co2. I think it is set at 150 lbs through the regulator. I bought it from Palmers Pursuit shop.
I would like to post all my pictures and plans but am not sure where to post them. They include all the guns on here and I did not want to scatter them all over the place. It would be nice if they had a personal spot on here where one could post everything from one maker.
Than you could look up one person and see everything that they have. It would be so much easier.

well you can post everything here on this thread or if you want a separate thread for plans you can use the HOW TO section.
awesome gun sounds like it works just like a typical paint ball gun like the spyder
fine machining, please post more picture, and stop double posting just edit you post, don't think that this thread will die from lack of attention its way too awesome if thats why you might be double posting
