does anyone know of an adapter that would fit a paintball air tank, into a blowgun for a vortex?

You'd need a regulator for one thing, unless you are going for 800 psi of liquid co2 in your bbmg. A regulator will usually convert down to standard pipe fittings so you can do the rest. Please invest some time in searching, this has been answered before.

Welcome to spudfiles (it looks like you haven't been around long).

Maybe you should do some research about the pressures involved before you attempt to do this, as unregulated CO2 is high pressure.

I posted this question not too long ago...

But, as a faster answer, I did some research, and it seems to me that the easiest and simplest adapter is actually from Lowes.

I just picked up a Kobalt CO2 system from Lowe's. You can attach a 9oz or 20oz paintball CO2 tank to it. It was around $99, and has a regulator attached. You will need to buy the CO2 tank sepparately. Then you just get a blowgun for a couple dollars.
