Is it possible to get this stuff here? Is there any way to get it sent from overseas? I was thinking I could get someone to send bb's with a bunch of sewing beads, and a barrel with a model kite, so it looks like part of the model. Pretty desperate I know but what else can I do? Problem is I don't know anyone from overseas who would do that for me- I would pay someone to do it though.

hi mate these are at a slingshot website in ausralia but they are obviously regular .177bbs
http://www.outdoorswarehouse.com.au/pro ... 4.5mm.html they also sell 6mm airsoft bbs
http://www.outdoorswarehouse.com.au/pro ... -Ammo.html , there must be a loophole to get these into australia if u say there for slingshots.

If only they had 0.2 or better, 0.25... 0.12 is just too light for a medium-powered sniper...

.12g is fine.
What are you planning to do with it? skirmish with your friends because I don't really see a point making an airsoft sniper if your just going to plink targets. You might as well just make a spud sniper rifle.
Although I do want to get my hands .12g, since beads are pretty bad, but still can cause some damage.

Go for .25g BB's !! They're the best compromise between weight and muzzle velociy.

Depends on the fps. If yur sniper is 430+ fps then use .28s but if it is under then .25-.20's are fine.
Btw if you want barrels then go to
http://www.airsoftretreat.com and look at the classifieds i the parts section. You can buy stock brass barrels for cheap. Edit: Is posting to other websites allowed?

Wooo go QLD! You can import anything from that slingshot category site to here. Once you're 18 just try to get your hands on a Category A (Handgun) Gun License. That way you can import Airsoft Spring / Gas Pistols into Australia. I'd only get one to import a whole bunch of cheap Springers to use with my friends. (i.e. if i'm breaching the forum rules just delete it or something).
It's also a way to import KGs of Airsoft bbs into Australia...
You can get 25KG bags of .12g and .20g Airsoft bbs for example from websites. I'm sure you'd use them in your homemades
.
Anyway... the BBs on that site are expensive... 4000 for $20. You can import like 200000 for $300 from overseas. But I guess it's a way to get good supplies of ammo.

So I was calculating the shipping costs of those 4000BBs .12g from that website and it looks like if you buy 2 or more 4000BBs containers you can get the option of free shipping
. Although It'll probably take longer but I think it would be more worth it aye? Because you can choose express or regular shipping (about 10 bucks)
And if you buy 8 or more 4000BBs containers free shipping is the only option... So your paying about $AU160. And you get about 32000BBs. I think it's pretty worth it considering it is Australian pricing. I've checked other sites and it costs about $US10-15 for like 5000 .12g BBs. So your not getting too ripped off. + There are other camping stores that sell '300' .12g BBs for $10. That's a rip off!
Anyway just doing my research, I'm probs going to get my BBs from that site if I don't get a Category A Gun License (Australian). Buying BBs overseas are much cheaper.
EDIT: Sadly it only ships to US and Canada
. Oh well

For all you Aussies out there. This spring pistol seems to be quite the bargain
$US3.99 or about $AU4.80. This is if you go for a Category A.

It'll cost you about 250 bucks to get a catA, plus I think you'll have to buy wto safes, one for gun, one for ammunition (lol, bb's) and join a gun club and have regular sessions there to justify having your firearm (lol, springer pistol)
