I just got a Double Eagle L96 sniper for free, the problem is that the trigger is in about 5 parts. I know that UTG makes a replacement trigger assembly for THIER L96. My question is, are the parts compatible?

Can't you send it back? how did it break? can't you glue it back together?

I am not sure about that particular model, but I'm sure if you do some research you can get your answer. If the parts are plastic, you may be able to fix them with pvc/abs cement, depending on what type of plastic they are. I have fixed many body parts on my truck with ABS cement, and it holds up very well.
Another thing you could try is contacting the manufacturer to see if they have any replacement parts that you can buy.

Pics or it didn't happen
Seriously, take a picture of the broken parts and we can try to piece it together like a puzzle.

Get a zero trigger for the aps2 series. its much better than the stock trigger and it comes with a new piston. And also please dont call airsoft sniper rifles "snipers". Snipers are people who use sniper rifles. They are not interchangeable.

this is a little OT, but that reminds me of the time i went shooting and we had a little .22lr with a scope on it and a kid said, "is that a sniper". i just said no and left it at that.
the kid was 15 or 16, old enough to know better... errr, at least he should have.

I know how it fits together, but wouldnt a new one last longer then a glued one?

The DE mk96 is the same as the utg/well/tsd mk96. So yes they are compatible

I always thought that using a plastic trigger mech box was just cheap. There are so many variations of these rifles that are pure garbage.
I shoot a vsr, I like it.
