I'm thinking about making a vortex bbmg. It seems pretty simple except for the vortex block. Whats the easiest way to construct one?

i hope this helps. very simple. just attach some kind of or magazine type thing and you are good to go. u could add another "barrel" that goes parallel with the air input and put bbs in there as a magazine then have a spring push the BBs up.
sorry for double post. you can always muzzel load your bbmg

That would be inefficient, and be it a cloud, vortex block, inline or cap BBMG they are all equally so. The latter three might be more reliable when it comes to feeding, but when it comes to air usage there is no difference between configurations.bradisfun wrote:unefficient much....
There are other ways to improve efficiency

If you wanted to make a vortex block the easy way without using any 3/4 drill ... here is a simple way I thought of doing so... it's actually something I thought of recently... Basically buy any type of 3/4" PVC pipe (pressure rated = more durability) and cut about 1.5cm-2cm worth of the PVC pipe.
Sand it down so it's as flat and flush too a flat surface as possible.
Then make kind of like a mold [two-way meaning there's no base to the mold](make it from like wood or something) for a rectangular prism of your preference in shape and size. Place the PVC cut out in the mold. Remember to grease up the mold because in the next step...
Put a piece of clear scotch tape beneath the mold because you will need to pour hot glue around the PVC cut out (remembering not to get any stuck inside the pvc cut out) and wait for it to hit a "milky" colour and push out the vortex block... and there you have it... wait for it too completely hardened then you're set in drilling your holes for the barrel and air input.

It's Nerf or Nothing.
Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

TO make a inline, take a half inch thick block or wood and cut it to size, drill a 3,4 hole for the vortex and a 1,4 inch hole for the barrel and air source, search the how to section, noname made a simple how to on how to make one from acyrilic (sp) it could easily be switched to wood

Well with airsoft at below 100 psi it will last a while but with metal bbs it does dent quickly but at the price bbs are now most people wont spend the money to shoot it too frequently, most guns shoot about 15 dollars worth of bbs in under 5 minutesirisher wrote:The problem with wood is that it can become dented with usage.
