Lately I cant seem to be able to fill my 20 oz co2 bottle with enough liquid co2!?,I tried again today as I have a large Bulk Bottle out the back yard and it wouldnt take more than 200 grams , I use to fill it to 538.6 grams( 19 oz) . Bottle was fully empty and I chilled it before filling, I can only assume the Bulk Bottles low or near empty? ive the bulk bottle years but wouldnt say ive refilled an awfull lot though.
Bottle says it takes 30kg of content, might have to try weigh the bottle, is this what happens when the bulk bottle gets low? I mean its still filling every time but will only fill half way?............
EDIT: Bottle says Tare Weight: 49 KG ,I weighed it and came in at 63kg, so theres 14 kg of co2 left

It could have leaked over time, no seal is 100% perfect...

If the bulk tank is only filling halfway, then you are probably nearly out of CO2.

Perhaps the siphon tube isn't long enough. Has it done this in previous fills of the bulk tank?

Well this is still the first fill on that bulk bottle LOL as I dont refill a hell of a lot, by my calculations there should be 13 kg of co2 left, the bottle holds 31kg worth. I would have thought id still be able to get more out!, you may be right though:Syphon tube might not go all the way down to the bottom of the Bulk Bottle?.

Most siphon tubes in a bottle usually go to the bottom then curve bend along the bottom just a bit. If you are getting (liquid) CO2 from the bottle, then the siphon tube is positioned right. But you can't get 3kg of CO2 from a bottle with only 13kg in it. Sounds like it's time for a refill. Mine (which are the smaller 20# tanks) usually run about $15 for a refill.

If it comes to it, you could GENTLY heat the bulk tank in a warm-hot water bath. Mostly to give it more thermal inertia.
I would be reluctant to throw away 13KG of CO2. Maybe empty it through a golf ball BBMG first...
